District Salaries
Do Central Office Administration receive higher raises than the rest of the District?
-
The Central Office Administration has not had disproportionate COLAs or steps awarded by the Board Of Education. There are individuals who have had changes to their title and job responsibilities resulting in overall changes to compensation. Individuals who are in the same position year over year are awarded similar percentage increases to that of teachers.
-
The annual percentage pay increase for administrators and teachers are consistent each year. Annual Cost of Living Allowances (COLA) are consistent for all job groups while movement (steps) on the salary schedule may be awarded, if the Board chooses to do so. There are some job groups that may have variability in overall annual percentage increases if it is necessary to keep them competitive in the market, which has often been referred to as “the middle of the pack.”
