Capital Projects

Maplecrest Elementary
Phase One was completed in 2021, partly funded by bonds approved in 2014. This phase included a full-sized gymnasium/performance space and an expanded cafeteria. Phase Two, completed in the summer of 2025, involved adding eight classrooms, totaling nearly 10,000 square feet.

Boswell Elementary
In the summer of 2023, Boswell completed a library media space, along with a STEM and gifted classroom, funded in part by a FEMA shelter grant. The project included flexible, innovative learning spaces for students, a new front entrance, and a new front office. Next, six additional classrooms will be added, totaling approximately 7,200 square feet, with an expected completion date in fall 2025.

Lebanon High School
LHS will include 20 new classrooms, a new office space, and renovate five former science rooms. The project includes replacing undersized classrooms, adding a two-story front addition, and creating a new lobby commons area to improve dining, traffic flow, and collaborative learning. The design also accommodates students pursuing alternative education paths, such as online courses, capstone projects, or career academies. The primary goal is to modernize classrooms for today’s and future students.

The Robert W. Plaster Center for Student Success - "The Center"

On October 30, 2025, Lebanon Schools celebrated the opening of the 3,500-square-foot Medical Simulation Lab, highlighting innovation, partnerships, and the future of healthcare education in Lebanon. The lab features high-fidelity simulation rooms, control centers, and debriefing spaces that replicate real medical environments, providing immersive training for students, first responders, and healthcare professionals.

The Center brings together programs that serve learners of all ages under one roof, including:

  • Early Childhood Center, supporting our youngest learners

  • Medical School of Discovery & GOCAPS, offering hands-on, real-world learning for high school students

  • Jordan Valley Community Health Center, providing accessible healthcare services for children and families

The Medical Simulation Lab supports the District’s focus on real-world learning alongside programs such as GOCAPS and Project Lead The Way. This “grow your own” approach helps prepare students for healthcare careers while strengthening Lebanon’s future workforce.

The facility serves a wide range of partners, including Mercy, CoxHealth, Lake Regional, and Jordan Valley, as well as workforce development programs and first responder training. This project was made possible through collaboration with the City of Lebanon, Ozarks Technical Community College, and the Lebanon R-3 School District, reflecting a shared commitment to students, workforce development, and the community’s future.
