The Lebanon Professional Development Committee believes it is important that all employees have the opportunity to develop their skills and knowledge that will allow them to be effective in their position.
One of the goals of the Lebanon R-III School Improvement Plan is to raise the achievement of all students. Teacher quality and continued improvement in instruction in one of the greatest factors contributing to student achievement. Quality professional development can increase the knowledge of academic content and teaching skills to enhance interaction with students and their learning.
The Lebanon Professional Development Committee coordinates the work of buildings and departments who contribute to the continual learning of staff.
