Mobile Device Initiative

The purpose of the mobile device initiative also known as LIFT (Learning Infused With Technology) at Lebanon R3 School District is to equip future-ready learners with the modern tools, resources, and experiences needed to facilitate and demonstrate student learning.

The increase in equity and accessibility reduces the digital divide allowing for all learners at Lebanon R3 School District to have the opportunity to personalize their learning at their own pace, place, and time.

Internet Access Options

What if we do not have internet access at home?

Google apps allows users to work offline. Files are saved locally to the laptop and then will be automatically updated the next time a wireless network is detected. A student can start a project in school and finish it at home even without an internet connection. Then when the student returns to school anything he or she worked on will be automatically updated to their Google Drive. Offline mode must be enabled while connected to the internet before students can use this.

How to Sign Into Google Chrome

Signing into Chrome allows you to save your bookmarks, and projects that use Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets.

Open Chrome
Click the person icon found at the top right, next to the address bar.
Press Turn on sync... to sign in
Enter your Lebanon email and password.
If you are asked to verify your account, click Continue.
If you are asked to turn on sync, click Yes I'm in.

Chrome will remember that you are signed in until you logout or if your computer is reimaged.

How to Join a Google Classroom

You can enroll into a class through a(n):

Link provided by the teacher
Class invitation through your email
Class code provided by the teacher

Once you enroll into a class, you can access it from any device once you sign into chrome with the appropriate account.

If you are unable to enroll into a class, contact the teacher of that class or visit this Google Support link.

Checking Grades

Sign into campus student here and select grades from the menu on the left.
Select the term you want to view from the table at the top.
To see more information about a grade that is in progress click the arrow to the right of that grade.
If the teacher has broken the assignment into categories, you will find those by clicking the arrow.
Click the plus sign to see assignments in a certain category and their scores.
